Alone in the Wilderness (Poetry)

I am lost in the wilderness

Shouting for help without success

I trod along with my head bowed 

From much uncertainty, I’m cowed.

Day in, day out, it’s all the same

I look around, no one came

Will all my days remain like this?

Will someone out there help me please?

How could it be that on these days

I somewhat feel very lonely?

Even amidst sea of faces,

It still feels like it is just me.

Am I overly sensitive?

Feeling gloomy over nothing

Or is that what I want to believe?

As I continue on hankering.
